Glory St. Clair Reviewed
Glory St. Clair by Gerry Bartlett ~V^^V
Plus size vampire Glory St. Clair just wants to fit in with the human race but some seems to keep reminding her that she is anything but. I really couldn't get into this one, it may have been the state of mind I was in or possibly that I tend to lean harder towards romance than fantasy. The story itself is well written and has all the elements but I found Glory to be far too ditsy to be likable. On the other hand I did enjoy some of the other characters. To each their own I say, I will try a few more books and see if she grows on me. ~Michelle

Eclipse Bay Trilogy Reviewed
Long feuding families the Hartes and the Madisons are well known through Eclipse Bay. A small tourist town on the Oregon coast has a host of interesting characters, not the least of which is Arizona Snow. I think she was likely the most enjoyable character in these books. We meet her also in the Arcane Society books. That said this series follows the newest generation of the Hartes and Madisons, will they follow the rivalry or will they repair the rift. I found this to be one of the more enjoyable series by this author. ~ Michelle

Kiss of the Highlander Karen Marie Moning
Yes, she thought. This is what I've needed. I feel ooh! He tilted her head at the perfect angle just like Lancelot did Guinevere in that single kiss between them in the movie First Knight and sealed his mouth over hers.

Arcane Society Reviewed
Arcane Society Reviewed ~ V^^V
Arcane Society is a secret group of people with ESP talents. The series bounces back and forth between Victorian era romance and contemporary. The society members tend to know one another and search each other out for various purposes not excluding marriage. This was, in my opinion, the best of the author’s series, mainly for the contemporary factor. However my biggest complaint is that the author has 3 pen names and several series that interact. At the same time there are books in this series alone that are independent series. Now while each book can be read independently of the others in the series, they would be easier to read together and with no easy place to locate the reading order on the author’s own website; I was left to use Goodreads and Fictfact. ~ Michelle

Harmony World/ Ghost-hunters Reviewed
Harmony World/ Ghost-hunters Reviewed ~V^^V
Series is a futuristic paranormal romance set on the planet of Harmony. Now my first instinct was that I am not that big of a sci-fi fan but the reality is that the setting and time really don’t have that much of a bearing on the story overall. The mysteries are interesting and the characters have good interaction. My biggest complaint is that the author has 3 pen names and several series that interact. While each book can be read independently of the others in the series, they would be easier to read together. However there is no set reading order list that I could find on the author’s website and the confusion that resulted from the multiple pen names and series interactions tending to annoy me. Honestly though I was neither in love with nor completely disliked these books. I guess if you are looking for something different give them a try. ~ Michelle

"Diamonds would be too flashy."
He'd made a joke. His sexy grin confirmed it. I smiled back. Maybe he was going to be reasonable. Surely he realized I was ass deep in alligators here, with my livelihood in ruins.

Deeper Than Midnight -Review
WOW!
Once again another phenomenal book. Thinking it had been awhile since the last book I wasn't sure that I would be in the zone. WRONG! Lara immediately sucked me back into the world of her Midnight Breed. Hunter and Corinne are a couple you can't help but root for. It doesn't stop there though. Major changes are happening at the Compound, so much so that nothing will ever be the same. The WHOLE story is filled with intense action, jaw dropping surprises and a few more characters to meet. Once again, I can't wait to see what happens next. ~Michelle ~V^^^^^V

If you haven't read the Lord of the Underworld yet now would be the time. This steamy Romance series is perfect for your summer reading pleasure. With the ninth book in the series just released in June, there should be no problem catching up in time for the next release. Happy Reading!
